Sumi Yashshree Hotels & Resorts has announced the upcoming opening of Yashshree GD Garden Resort, a new five-star hospitality destination on Jollang Road in Papu Nallah, Naharlagun, Itanagar.
Spread across 13 acres of landscaped grounds, the resort will feature 45 rooms and cater to leisure travellers, families, business guests and visitors attending weddings, conferences and social celebrations.
The property will offer extensive event facilities, including a 6,000 sq. ft. banquet hall, 2,500 sq. ft. conference room, 800 sq. ft. boardroom and a 10,000 sq. ft. outdoor lawn. Parking for more than 100 vehicles is also planned.
Guests will have access to a restaurant, bar and swimming pool, with the resort designed to serve as a base for travellers visiting Itanagar for leisure, business, cultural experiences and events.
Sadip Lama, Founder and CMD, Sumi Yashshree Hotels & Resorts, said the company aims to create a distinctive hospitality experience for visitors while providing Itanagar with a comprehensive venue for weddings, celebrations and corporate gatherings.
The opening marks another step in the group’s expansion across eastern and northeastern India. Sumi Yashshree Hotels & Resorts currently operates properties across destinations including Darjeeling, Gangtok, Kalimpong, Lachung, Lachen, Pelling, Siliguri, Vizag, Araku and Digboi.
