India targets civilian aircraft manufacturing within two years: Ram Mohan Naidu

India aims to manufacture its own civilian aircraft within two years, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu said at the 41st IATO Annual Convention in Visakhapatnam. The minister cited 860 aircraft in service and 1,640 on order, while highlighting plans under the extended UDAN scheme to invest INR 28,840 crore and develop 100 additional airports.
