Etihad launches Escapes platform to expand travel services beyond flights

Etihad Airways has unveiled Etihad Escapes, a new travel platform that will initially allow passengers to add hotel stays to existing flight bookings. Launching in October, the platform is planned to expand through 2027 to include flights, hotels, loyalty and other travel services, as the airline seeks to increase customer engagement and create additional revenue opportunities.
