Chennai airport restores direct cab pickup at Terminal 1 after 26 months

Chennai airport's Terminal 1 now offers a direct cab pickup point outside Gate A2. This new facility ends a 26-month wait for passengers seeking immediate taxi access. Passengers previously used buggies to reach the multi-level car park for their pre-booked cabs. Union minister K Rammohan Naidu virtually inaugurated the new cab pickup plaza on Sunday. The airport director stated this plaza will significantly improve passenger experience.
