Bengaluru emerges as Akasa Air’s largest pet travel hub with 3,700 journeys

Bengaluru has emerged as Akasa Air’s largest pet travel hub, accounting for more than 30 per cent of pet journeys across its network. The airline said over 3,700 pet journeys have originated from the city since the launch of Pets on Akasa, while demand rose 53 per cent from FY24 to FY26, with Bengaluru’s pet parents travelling to 16 destinations.
