Bengal to get Rs 500 crore tourism infrastructure makeover: CM Suvendu

West Bengal is set to enhance its tourism sector with a focus on environmental preservation and infrastructure improvement. An investment of Rs 500 crore is earmarked for the development and refurbishment of tourism facilities. To safeguard the biodiversity of the Sunderbans, the government plans to plant 20 lakh mangroves. Additionally, tourist lodges will be updated, and there are plans for improved vessel connectivity from Babughat to Gangasagar.
