Changi Singapore

In Changi airport all the terminals are inter connected and if you do not cross immigration you don’t need a Visa. And for changing terminal 2 to 1 once you get down from flight you can directly take sky train to terminal 1.

Foreigners transiting in Singapore will not require visas if they remain within the transit area of Changi Airport (Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4) and do not pass through Singapore Immigration.

Need Visa or not mostly depends on your airlines as well. If you are traveling by noon budget airlines then they will have airside passing and you don’t need to cross immigration. But if you are traveling by low cost carrier then it’s may possible that you need Visa.

It’s always better to check with your airlines or check while booking of they mentioned about self transfer (which means require Visa).

The connectivity and assistance in Singapore airport is top notch.

Extension of stay for transit travellers under VFTF is strictly not allowed.
