Sypha AI, an India-based privacy-focused AI coding assistant, has announced a strategic partnership with BLS International Services Ltd, a global leader in outsourced visa and consular services operating in more than 70 countries. The alliance aims to develop AI-first digital public infrastructure that supports visa processing, citizen services and consular operations worldwide.

The partnership builds on India’s growing leadership in enterprise-grade AI infrastructure, a theme prominently discussed at the India AI Impact Summit, where Sypha AI Founder and CEO Shawn Chauhan was among AI start-up leaders who met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Seva Teerth.

Under the agreement, Sypha AI will deploy its enterprise software engineering platform to modernise BLS-managed legacy technology stacks supporting large-scale government workflows. The focus will be on redesigning the system core to ensure scalability, interoperability and built-in privacy compliance, rather than simply layering automation on existing frameworks.

Shawn Chauhan said, “This partnership demonstrates how privacy-first AI platforms built in India can power mission-critical public infrastructure globally. The combination of Sypha’s AI-driven engineering and BLS International’s operational expertise creates a strong foundation for secure, scalable and future-ready systems.”

The collaboration integrates Sypha’s engineering capability with BLS International’s on-ground experience in regulated service environments where compliance, continuity and data protection are paramount.

Shikhar Aggarwal, Joint Managing Director, BLS International, added, “AI is redefining visa and consular services-from intelligent automation to advanced risk-based decision-making and personalised citizen experiences. With Sypha AI, we are building smarter, safer and future-ready digital infrastructure that sets new benchmarks for the sector.”

As visa volumes rise globally amid tighter screening norms, governments are under pressure to enhance turnaround times and transparency. Embedding AI into system architecture is expected to streamline processing, improve fraud detection, and enable risk-based profiling while ensuring adherence to evolving data localisation and privacy requirements.

With international mobility recovering and the global visa outsourcing market expanding, the partnership positions Sypha AI to evolve beyond its origins as a coding assistant into a core infrastructure engineering player within global government ecosystems.
